The BiAqua solution is a bio-based technology that is able to create extremely low phosphate concentrations in water (below 1 ppb), one of the key strategies in tackling biofouling and bacterial growth in water systems preemptively. The BiAqua solution is also able to extract hazardous metals and other harmful substances from water (e.g. arsenic), even when present in extremely low quantities, resulting in pure water.

Our solution eradicates the primary causes of water pollution, like bacterial contamination and arsenic in water. PadEx stands for Phosphate adsorber Exchanger. These adsorption systems have been specifically designed for the use with BiAqua’s bio-based adsorbent. Using our adsorbent to treat water with phosphate levels ranging between 0.1 and 25 ppm will result in extreme low levels of phosphate concentration (< 1 ppb). The PadEx system can be used in temperatures up to 60°C and with pH values ranging between 4 and 10. PadEx water treatment systems can also be equipped with a regeneration station that completely reactivates the adsorbent.
